Our flight out was early afternoon so during the morning of our last day, we hoped to go site seeing one last time. The weather was not cooperative though. In fact, it was pretty awful. It rained, and rained, and rained some more. It rained so hard that when we did head out to look around, our visibility so bad that we barely saw the road in front of us.
We did manage to get as far as Denarau Island, a sort of estate with a bunch of houses and a golf course, but after driving around the streets a bit, there seemed little point in going on so we turned back to the hotel and stayed in until we had to leave for the airport. We didn’t take any photos of that trip either, but that’s probably just as well given how bad the weather was.
So we got back to the hotel and stayed there until it was time for us to check-out. We took the two minute journey back to the airport and after a while boarded our flight to Vanuatu that afternoon.
